| Kreiders War Admiral ApHC (aka Thunder) He is a 13 yr old gelding. He is a sweet horse to have a round. His temperament is great. He was gelded last summer before I bought him. At that point he was immediately turned out with mares. I have had him since February 21, 2010. When I bought him I was told that he had, had a rider on about 5 times but needed a crop to get him to move. He had excepted a rider with out any trouble but would not do go forward at all. We have been working with him. He now goes forward when asked with leg. He will back up, he has been ridden on the road, across railroad tracks. We are still working on getting him to load on to a trailer he doesn't like to do that. Thunder will make a nice horse for an experienced rider. He loves attention from children an is good with them. He has the potential to make a good show horse. He is not thrilled with cattle. He does well with his training an is eager to learn new things. He will tolerate an inexperienced rider who doesn't ask anything of him but to walk. He stays calm with them. Thunder rides English and western we are still working on different things and will be jumping soon. Thunder is a very calm horse around children that are screaming and jumping around. Thunder can NOT be paddocked with any other geldings. He will hurt them badly. You could put him in with mares but I would not recommend it because he get very love sick. $3000 |
